Customer Reviews
“The media could not be loaded. It’s an OLED so its gonna be good. I didn’t have any text fringing or eye strain even after 4 hours straight use. Picture quality is great. Brightness is good enough for me. Im impressed by the colors on it. It doesn’t get any better in this price. Now the cons are that the upper side of the panel is very thin so if I want to tilt it up or down with my monitor arm I’d feel more confident doing it holding the bottom part. The HDMI doesn’t support more than 165hz on this monitor so I had to use display port for that sweet 240hz refresh rate. You could use an HDMI to DP cable if you don’t have any display port option in your pc or laptop. The bezels are a bit thicker than I expected, You’ll notice it if you work or play in bright room. For me it’s no problem. My roommate has an Samsung g5 OLED and it feels smaller than that for some reason even though it’s same size. (Image quality is better than Samsung in this). It’s a glossy display, part of the reason why content looks better than Samsung g5. But in a bright room or average light room if you are watching something dark-ish you will see all the reflection on it. While gaming it’s not noticeable. Overall a little bit adjustment but very good for the price.”
“For the price this is an excellent monitor. At first glance the monitor may look a little dim, but if you mess around with the settings you’ll see the burn in protection settings are turned on by default. Specifically “Uniform Brightness” which dims the entire monitor. Pretty sweet for web browsing and coding and stuff, where some elements might be in the same spot for a while. Turning it off however, makes the screen look fantastic. Super deep darkness with vibrant colors, especially if you take the time to find the right hdr settings. All in all for 360 dollars this is a stellar buy.”

Customer Reviews
“Unlike the Acer version of the same panel, this monitor works really well with SDR and HDR modes, you just flip the windows HDR switch on and off. Acer has had this problem for many years with multiple monitors (I personally experienced) and it’s a huge hassle they should’ve fixed many years ago. So I cancelled my ACER order and went with INNOCN. I think there might be some confusion with how it’s picture defaults\\modes are set up, but this is an unbelievable monitor! This will save you a lot of time: First off, if you are playing games with this monitor, HDR games, set the picture mode to SRGB and let NVidia auto switch between standard 8 bit and HDR 10 bit color. Works great, no glitches, huge difference in SDR desktop color and HDR games. Then calibrate HDR in windows, setting the lowest value to 0. You will get great blacks even with low local dimming. Put dynamic overdrive on 3 and local dimming to low. That’s it, it works without effort and you’re done! I’ve been playing on an LG C3 for 2 years, and it’s an amazing experience. I would pick this monitor over it any day. Any day! You get used to the dimness of oled and you think it’s bright. Then you get a monitor that has 1100 nits of glorious HDR with mini led and sooooo many whole bright scenes put my C3 to shame. I’d say around half of the time my games look better with miniled than my oled. I think it has to do with the amount of lighting zones and it’s resolution. It has as many minileds as the 4k versions so it appears 27inches, 1440p is the sweet spot for great miniled local dimming. The clarity, response time are wonderful. The color is wonderful at all times, not overblown, just vivid and clean. The sense of real light in my games is really noticeable with miniled over oled. It’s like oled does a great expression\\spin on HDR but miniled just brings the real thing. I don’t worry about burn in anymore or my organic tv slowly degrading. Here’s the thing right now: from a gaming standpoint, the VA panel minileds are vastly inferior to the ips panel minileds. Be sure to nail that down before getting one or you might be really bummed. VA ghosting is unacceptable. Also, until the amount of miniled backlights increase, a 1440p 27 inch miniled monitor works better than the 27inch 4k versions because they have the same amount of backlights, so it’s more accurate at 1440k. I don’t see any blooming, it’s incredible. The only caveat is local dimming on the desktop is just eh. I was impressed with the quality of the monitor, heavy stand, easy controls, zero dead pixels, almost completely uniform backlighting, very little backlight bleed. 1,100 nits, no ghosting, great response, uncomfortably close to oled quality without the dim explosions or bright scenes. On the desktop it’s already calibrated, superb srgb and Adobe gamma accuracy. Overall, the most powerful, accurate and versatile monitor I’ve ever used, hands down.”
“First, this monitor exceeded my expectations, picture, color accuracy, brightness, no dead pixels, all on point. I went with the mini LED due to fear of burn in and blurry text with OLED. I picked this monitor due to having an IPS panel (I will never own another VA panel) and some reviews on YouTube. I play games, use Blender and mess with Unreal Engine and this monitor has been great so far. No ghosting, have not noticed any bloom just smooth all around. I was very skeptical as I have never heard of INNOCN before. I will say if you buy this monitor go to the web site and get the PC app to easily tweak monitor settings, beats using the little joystick on the back of the monitor and big THANK YOU to the person/s at INNOCN who made that an option as this monitor has a TON of settings to play with.”

Customer Reviews
“This monitor is fantastic. I went from an aging Nixeus 27″ 1440p IPS LCD to an MSI MAG 27” OLED that broke within 6 hours, to this monitor, and am very happy with it. At under $500, it’s a solid price given the feature list. The response times (input lag) are fantastic, and it supports 240hz adaptive refresh rate with both Gsync and Freesync. It’s got HDMI and Displayport connectivity. And, it’s an OLED monitor. Being an OLED means the color reproduction is fantastic and damn near 100%, so coming from an LCD you’ll notice a huge boost to color contrast. Blacks will be black, not dark gray, and colors will be accurate, allowing you to notice subtle color gradients and other details you wouldn’t notice before. The monitor is easy to use, with a single control knob on the underside that allows you to both turn off the monitor and go into the settings. You can change things like brightness and picture mode, as well as “peak brightness” which impacts the max brightness your screen can hit in localized spots during HDR content. Overall, works great. I will say the colors don’t quite pop out as much as on the MSI MAG QD-OLED, but it’s also more color accurate and easier on the eyes. Trying to read anything on the MSI had my eyes watering and they felt like they were being poked, so I guess it’s sort of a gift that I had to return it and get the LG.”
“I got this monitor for around 440$, for this value its absolutely amazing. Of course OLED looks fantastic but its also really smooth and has great colors. The refresh rate at this price is pretty good and the size for me works best, I’ve tried bigger monitors and for competitive gaming this size works way better for me so I’m not overly looking for the corners of HUD’s. The menu has all the options you’d expect also and it gets plenty bright for me. Cant speak on the stand as I immediately mounted it on a desk mount. It incredibly thin, like… wayyy too thin, its super cool, but sometimes I feel like I’m gonna snap it in half moving it closer or further away. I don’t think it would actually break like that just what it feels like so no big deal.”

Customer Reviews
“Been using this for two days now and everything is great. I have a dual Xeon workstation and gaming PC connected via KVM. After I got everything hooked up I maxed out the refresh rate at 240 Hz. Right off the bat I got really bad flickering, like multiple flickers per second and only happened at 240Hz. Fortunately, the problem was with my DP cable. Even though it was a Dp 1.4 it just couldn’t support that high of a signal. Bought a new one. switched it out, and everything is great. Now, if you were like me I hesitated because my monitor is shared for work and play. I didn’t know how bad the text would be considering how that is not a strong suit. The text isn’t as sharp as my previous monitor but not a big deal at all. As a matter of fact, I am already used to it and don’t think about it anymore. The blacks on this thing is absolutely amazing. The colors are so vibrant and rich and gaming looks so much better, even compared to a non OLED 4k monitor. The one thing that I was not too thrilled about is the auto dimming feature. If I switched from my desktop to MS word, you would see some minor dimming. I found out this is part of the built-in screen saving options. Not sure which ones so I turned them all off. I am not overly worried about burn-in. If it happens then I will use my 3-year warranty. By the way, make sure you register the monitor on Asus’s site. Now, add this to your cart and check out. UPDATE: I just upgraded to the PG27UCDM (review above was for the XG27AQDMG). For some reason Amazon won’t let me write an independent review, even though it is a different model so I am including it in this review. Without exaggeration, this may be the best monitor ever. It just took a few minutes to change the settings based on what I like. The colors are so vibrant and blacks are so deep. I seriously cannot think of anything on which to improve the quality on this monitor, except for one. There is noticeable flicking if I have VRR enabled. Certainly not a deal breaker but you can see it flicker if you pay close enough attention. Other than that, it’s perfect and worth the $$$$.”
“Love it! Have had it for maybe 3 weeks now no issues. Picture quality is great u definitely need the right HDMI cord that can support the type of quality u are trying to stream. Xbox supports 4K and comes with 2.1HDMI so I am able to use 4k at 60hz for watching things on this monitor and it will activate the HDR settings at that point. The only “con” I would say which isn’t really a con just an annoying thing is the pixel cleaning. I make sure to do it whenever I have the pop up bc I don’t want burn it but it takes like 6 minutes and sometimes I just wanna get right on and play but I have to wait. But it’s worth it for the longevity of the monitor. U do need speakers it has no speakers. I did see some flickering at one point I never knew what that was before but I only saw it the one time and after fixing my settings to turnoff VRR it stopped so that’s good. Picture quality u will have to mess with the setting a lot to see what u like best but there are 2 settings save slots so u can save ur settings and load them. I have1 setting for when im gaming i jus hit to load that pre saved setup and the when I watching something i switch to my other saved settings so i dont have to go through and change everything all the time. Also for playing games, I play rivals mostly, that cross hair feature is lowkey a cheat bc I can better see my cross hair than the actual game crosshair and it has a dynamic function so it changes colors depending on the colors on the screen so it’s never hard to see it always does a contrasting color to make it easier to see. It has come in handy a lot. In the photo that Red Crosshair on the screen that’s the one I’m talking about that it a feature of the monitor that’s not from the game. Definitely is worth the money. I used amazons payment plan bc it is kinda expensive but I think it’s worth it and I like the rainbow color lighting effects the symbol does on the back it’s cuteeee.”

Complete Buying Guide for Best Oled Gaming Monitor
Essential Factors We Consider
When we’re picking out the best OLED gaming monitors, we’re really looking at a few key things that make a big difference. Obviously, picture quality is paramount – we want those deep blacks, vibrant colors, and amazing contrast that only OLED can provide. Then there’s responsiveness: a high refresh rate (like 144Hz, 240Hz, or even higher) and a super-low response time (think 0.1ms or 0.03ms) are crucial for smooth, tear-free gaming. We also check for features like adaptive sync technologies (G-Sync or FreeSync) to prevent screen tearing and ensure a fluid experience. Connectivity options, ergonomic stands, and build quality are also on our radar. For more on what makes a great gaming display, check out our guide on the best monitors for immersive gaming.
Budget Planning
OLED gaming monitors are an investment, no doubt about it. You’ll generally find that the absolute top-tier models with the highest refresh rates and most advanced features come with a premium price tag. However, as you can see from our list, there are increasingly more affordable options, like the LG model, that still offer that incredible OLED experience without completely emptying your wallet. It’s all about finding that sweet spot between the features you absolutely need and what fits comfortably within your budget. Don’t forget to consider the overall value – a slightly more expensive monitor that lasts longer and offers a significantly better experience might be worth it in the long run.
Final Thoughts
Choosing the right OLED gaming monitor can feel overwhelming with so many amazing options out there. Whether you prioritize raw speed with an ultra-high refresh rate, the best possible picture quality, or a balance of both, there’s a monitor on this list that’s perfect for you. We’ve aimed to cover a range of needs and budgets, so you can make an informed decision. Remember to consider your primary gaming needs – are you a competitive player who lives by frame rates, or do you prefer soaking in the visuals of story-driven adventures? Your answer will guide you to the best OLED gaming monitor for your setup.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Are OLED gaming monitors worth the investment?
A: Absolutely, if you prioritize visual fidelity and responsiveness. The true blacks, infinite contrast, and near-instantaneous response times of OLED technology offer a gaming experience that traditional LCD monitors simply cannot match. While they can be more expensive, the visual upgrade is often considered well worth the cost for serious gamers.
Q: What is the benefit of a high refresh rate on an OLED gaming monitor?
A: A high refresh rate, such as 240Hz or more, means the monitor can display more frames per second. This results in incredibly smooth motion, reduced motion blur, and a more responsive feel, which is crucial for fast-paced games and competitive play. Combined with OLED’s low response time, this creates an exceptionally fluid gaming experience.
Q: How do I prevent screen burn-in on my OLED gaming monitor?
A: Modern OLED monitors have built-in features to mitigate burn-in, such as pixel shifting and screen savers. To further protect your investment, avoid leaving static images displayed for extended periods at maximum brightness, vary your content, and utilize the monitor’s built-in protection features. Many gaming monitors also offer tools like ASUS OLED Care to help manage this.
Q: Can I use an OLED gaming monitor for productivity tasks?
A: Yes, you can, but with some considerations. While the color accuracy and contrast are excellent, prolonged use of static elements like taskbars or application windows at high brightness could, in theory, increase the risk of burn-in over time. Many monitors have features to help with this, and for general productivity, they perform exceptionally well.
Q: What resolution should I look for in an OLED gaming monitor?
A: For gaming, QHD (2560×1440) is a very popular and excellent choice for 27-inch displays, offering a great balance of detail and performance demands. 4K (3840×2160) offers even more detail but requires a more powerful PC to drive at high frame rates. The monitors on our list primarily focus on QHD, which is a sweet spot for OLED gaming.
So there you have it – our top picks for the best OLED gaming monitors! Whether you’re chasing peak performance or seeking the most immersive visuals, these displays are ready to take your gaming to the next level. If you’re still exploring options, you might find our guide to the best 27-inch OLED monitors for gaming helpful. Happy gaming!
