The floating arms won\’t quite be as flexible as you\’d like, but they\’re WAY easier to use than the standard straight pole, straight arm stands. They hold the weight of two 27″ monitors flawlessly, I\’ve had older and heavier 4k monitors on these arms and they still supported them easily. Customer Review: “I was extremely nervous about setting this up for a couple different reasons.One, my desk has a decent amount of weight already on the back end, so I was concerned the extra weight of my monitors and the stand might overdo it and cause issues. However this was not an issue. I did have to do some slight modifications to get it set up to my desk, but they were pretty specific to the desk i was using, as it had a cable management tray on the back side underneath and a not very well attached back piece that made mounting this unstable. After removing those two thing, it fit nicely.Setup was about as good as i could expect reasonably for something like this. Instructions were very clear, everyuthing very well labeled, and anything i might need included(other than a drill if you are looking to not use the clamp., that being said its nice they included the option for either mounting system)Sturdy?? Oh as hell. This thing is holding a decently heavy 28″ as well as my other lighter 27″ no problem. My old mount struggled to hold the weight of my 28″ but this one handles it like an absolute champ!!! And it still has such amazing range of motion withjout creating any issues whatsoever. Part of me was hoping I may be able get my moniotrs vertically aligned but sadly not really an option. Not really at fault of the product as it was not intended and I just hoped it would work lol, so cant knock off points for that.Incredible product, im super ecstastic to have. This mount NAILED IT.Pros:1) They are extremely durable and manufactured with high grade aluminum.2) One of the videos on this site shows a quick demonstration of putting them together but weread the directions anyways3) It has built in wire management (that I didn’t use) that will help you conceal wires4) Comes with (2) USB (A to B) cords if your monitors support that (mine do)5) Fairly easy to put together and NOTHING is loose fitting6) Screws and hardware are well manufactured and not cheaply made7) Will support up to a 35″ monitor (mine is 34″ widescreen)Cons:1) The Vesa mount adapter (part# 07) that connects to the upper arm (part# 06) is EXTREMELYtight. You will have to muscle that in (carefully) but it will snap into place. It really takes somedoing.If I had to rate this mount on a scale from 1-10 (ten being best) I’d give it a 9.5. It’s very strudy, tilts well and the instructions, while very minimal and wordless, did a great job of getting everything set up. The movement is sturdy and easy. Since my monitor was so large, you will need some assistance with making sure it snaps on to the mount correctly. It’s not a one man/woman job with large monitors. The one up top was simple.I will say, please watch the instructions on how to tighten each arm as they aren’t like mechanical arms where they just drop for adjustment quickly, they will hold but they’ll move in different directions based on what your arm is doing. I did read that you can break the arms by over tightening, so please be careful. I didn’t have this issue, as they are heavy and solid arms.I DO WISH – that they came with a longer pole base from the start. 45 + 34 is really pushing it as far as getting them to be firmly seated, but they’re really close together as you see by the photos. The smaller pole base just doesn’t allow enough height but it does work and still looks great. You’ll find a balance.”

Customer Review: “I used to have a giant 32” curved monitor for my home office, but since downsizing that home office to a much smaller home office in a much smaller room, the monitor was just too massive. It swallowed up my whole desk. And I like to work with dual monitors, besides, which was now out of the question.So when I saw this dual-arm monitor mount, I decided to change things up. I got two inexpensive 24” non-curved monitors, installed this, hung those, and now I have a perfect setup. (Or as perfect as can be expected under the circumstances, anyway.)The arms on this mount are very versatile. They swivel and pivot in pretty much any direction, and while they don’t rotate between landscape and portrait, you can mount your monitor(s) vertically at your pleasure. I run one monitor in landscape for browsing and one in portrait for writing.Depending on your desired setup with this mount, there are some potential drawbacks to be aware of, though.First, the weight load is adequate for most monitors up to 32”, but some monitors—especially curved gaming monitors—are VERY heavy. You need to make sure that the mount can handle the load, but you also need to make sure that your desk can handle the load. The mounting bracket is adequate for desktops as thin as 0.39 inches, but depending on the material of your desk (i.e. chipboard vs. MDF vs. wood, etc.), the clamp might be a bit too narrow. Reinforcement with a strip of wood or similar might be called for. I have a thin all-wood desktop (0.6 inches or so), and everything works fine with my five-pound monitors.Second, just because these arms can accommodate large monitors doesn’t mean your desired setup is guaranteed to work. Take my setup, for example. If I put 27” monitors on this mount’s two arms, they’d meet so closely in the middle that I wouldn’t be able to center my laptop—which is effectively my control hub for everything—without significantly overlapping the external monitors. If you’re using a desktop computer, that’s less of an issue, but laptop users should take special note of this.Third, to get your monitors set back near the rear of your workstation, you’ll need to leave some meaningful space BEHIND your workstation. Otherwise, the wall will limit how far the arms can be positioned rearward to move your monitors adequately out of the way. For my setup, the wall is definitely a limiting factor. Ideally, I’d push my monitors back a bit more.All those limitations or considerations aside, this monTEK dual mount is excellent. The arm tension can be adjusted to accommodate different weights of monitors, and the arms can be effectively locked in place or balanced just on the edge such that you can articulate and move your monitors around freely at will. The built-in cable management is clean and comprehensive, too.
