Customer Reviews
The media could not be loaded. It’s an OLED so its gonna be good. I didn’t have any text fringing or eye strain even after 4 hours straight use. Picture quality is great. Brightness is good enough for me.Im impressed by the colors on it. It doesn’t get any better in this price. Now the cons are that the upper side of the panel is very thin so if I want to tilt it up or down with my monitor arm I’d feel more confident doing it holding the bottom part. The HDMI doesn’t support more than 165hz on this monitor so I had to use display port for that sweet 240hz refresh rate. You could use an HDMI to DP cable if you don’t have any display port option in your pc or laptop. The bezels are a bit thicker than I expected, You’ll notice it if you work or play in bright room. For me it’s no problem. My roommate has an Samsung g5 OLED and it feels smaller than that for some reason even though it’s same size. (Image quality is better than Samsung in this). It’s a glossy display, part of the reason why content looks better than Samsung g5. But in a bright room or average light room if you are watching something dark-ish you will see all the reflection on it. While gaming it’s not noticeable.Overall a little bit adjustment but very good for the price.
Customer Review: Detailed Reviewer
For the price this is an excellent monitor. At first glance the monitor may look a little dim, but if you mess around with the settings you’ll see the burn in protection settings are turned on by default. Specifically “Uniform Brightness” which dims the entire monitor. Pretty sweet for web browsing and coding and stuff, where some elements might be in the same spot for a while. Turning it off however, makes the screen look fantastic. Super deep darkness with vibrant colors, especially if you take the time to find the right hdr settings. All in all for 360 dollars this is a stellar buy.

Customer Reviews
So far 5/5 as long as it continues working as it does it’s phenomenal. Great quality for gaming, specifically stuff like new CoD games, fallout, l4d2, dead island 2, etc etc. haven’t used the dp cable yet. Think I had it upside down when trying to plug in so I gave up and used HDMI but still great for a gamer who relies heavily on having a great setup. K/d ratio in my prime on CoD was 4.00+ but getting old now, slowing down. Still 1.5+ on games I barely know (bo7, mw3 new). Fallout 4 is also great looking, and Diablo 2 resurrected in max settings. Running a Thermaltake PC with a 5070ti gfx card (I think!). Will report back later with more. Great frames, great color, fast response. Com ability is great so far with everything, and adjustments are easy and even auto a lot of the time. Sound not fantastic but it’s a moniter not a speaker.
Customer Review: Dedicated Gamer
I was hesitant to buy this because it has little to no reviews but the package came on time and display looks great. I use this primarily for gaming and visuals are on par with more expensive brands. Great bang for your buck.

Customer Reviews
OLED is king! I had an iMac for a couple days and enjoyed it but the screen hurt my eyes! I couldn’t take the eye strain going to bed. The screen just didn’t look natural to me. The blacks were this bright gray. I knew I needed OLED because I have an OLED TV and that never hurts my eyes. Got this monitor and I don’t have eye strain anymore. OLED mimics reality. Where there is no light, there is no light. It’s just comfortable. Great display. The colors are nice. It’s just like one of those things where I don’t even notice it. There just isn’t anything wrong with it. It just does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Apart from moments of gratitude and “this is awesome” it’s just a silent companion. It does what it’s supposed to do I hardly notice it’s there, like a car engine running in the background. A good machine! Works well with my Mac Mini. Thought 32 would be too big, only got it because there are no 27 inch glossy OLEDs. But it ended up being the perfect size. Glossy is perfect for me I can’t stand any compromise to clarity, anti glare is not my thing. Fantastic monitor. Expensive but it is what it is. I wish I could have gotten it for 500 but that’s just not the state of the world. Infinitely better than my iMac monitor and all in all, this monitor, M4 Mac Mini, Edifier M60, Keychron keyboard… For roughly the same price as a 10 core iMac, I am in a completely different universe of comfort, ease, and performance. Put the extra work in. Get what you really need. No compromises. No living with pain.
Customer Review: Comfort Seeker
Went from an LG Ultragear 32″ 1440p IPS to this. OH MY GOD! It’s crazy the difference the higher resolution and pixel response make. Blacks are black! Colors are amazing even compared to the IPS. I see people say the other type of OLED is better for colors, its just hard to imagine that at all. Super clean image, text is perfect, hdr is amazing and it feels super well built. If you are on the fence and wondering if OLED is really a game changer, it absolutely is! So much so, after seeing it, my wife wanted a OLED TV from LG, the B5. It’s an amazing TV, as has been my experience with all LG displays i’ve owned. I’m hard pressed to ever go with another company for my TV’s and displays at this point, just amazing quality and value. Absolutely no regrets, and it feels super sturdy. The dual mode is a cool feature, can go to 1080p at 24, 27 or full 32″ with higher refresh for the games your gpu can’t quite hit high frames and you wanna be competitive. Running on a 4070ti and 4k using dlss so far has been pretty smooth, minus a few games with huge vram requirements.

Complete Buying Guide for Best 4K OLED Monitor Under 500$
Essential Factors We Consider
When hunting for a 4K OLED monitor under $500, we zero in on key specifications that truly matter. For gaming, this means incredibly high refresh rates (120Hz and above) and near-instantaneous response times (0.1ms to 0.03ms) to eliminate motion blur and input lag. For visual professionals and general users, color accuracy (high sRGB, DCI-P3 coverage), HDR support (like HDR10 or DisplayHDR True Black), and resolution are paramount. We also look at connectivity options like HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4, as well as ergonomic features such as adjustable stands and VESA mount compatibility. The overall build quality and brand reputation also play a role in ensuring a reliable and long-lasting purchase.
Budget Planning
While we’re focusing on monitors under $500, it’s important to note that OLED technology, especially 4K OLED, can still be a premium feature. Prices can fluctuate, and you might find that the absolute best models occasionally edge slightly over the $500 mark, particularly during sales events. Conversely, you might find exceptional deals that bring them well within budget. Our selections aim to hit that sweet spot of performance and value, ensuring you get the most bang for your buck. Always keep an eye out for deals and consider that an investment in a top-tier OLED gaming monitor can enhance your experience significantly.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Is OLED technology truly worth it for monitors?
A: Absolutely! OLED technology offers unparalleled contrast ratios, perfect blacks, and incredibly vibrant colors thanks to its self-emissive pixels. This results in a more immersive and visually stunning experience compared to traditional LCD panels, especially for gaming and HDR content.
Q: What is a good refresh rate for a 4K OLED gaming monitor?
A: For a smooth gaming experience at 4K, a refresh rate of at least 120Hz is recommended. Monitors offering 240Hz or even higher, like some of the options listed above, provide an even more fluid and responsive gaming experience, especially for fast-paced titles.
Q: Are 4K OLED monitors good for productivity and work?
A: Yes, 4K OLED monitors are excellent for productivity. The high resolution provides ample screen real estate for multitasking, and the color accuracy and contrast make them ideal for photo editing, graphic design, and video production. They also reduce eye strain due to their perfect blacks and lack of backlight bleed.
Q: What is the difference between QD-OLED and WOLED?
A: QD-OLED (Quantum Dot OLED) uses a layer of quantum dots to enhance color and brightness on top of a blue OLED emitter. WOLED (White OLED) uses white OLED emitters and color filters. QD-OLED generally offers wider color gamuts and higher peak brightness, leading to more vibrant and impactful colors.
Q: How do I protect my OLED monitor from burn-in?
A: Modern OLED monitors come with built-in burn-in protection features like pixel shifting and logo dimming. To further minimize risk, avoid displaying static images for extended periods, vary your content, and utilize the monitor’s built-in screen savers and pixel refresh functions. Most users will not experience burn-in with normal usage patterns.
