Customer Review: “First off, let me get this out of the way – This probably isn’t the exact same model as the reviews you might have read about the other X27U monitors. Check the exact model number so there are no surprises. This model is substantially cheaper than those for a reason: the panel on it isn’t quite as nice as those.With that said, it’s still a phenomenal display. I have it next to a very good 27″ IPS display, and it just eats its lunch. You can’t even compare the two, it’s not a fair fight. You probably hear a lot about how good the blacks are, but something nobody talks about is how that makes colors look. When you have a crimson red on your IPS display, the nature of it introduces a little bit of grey. It looks good, but then you put that same color on this QD-OLED and its amazing the difference. Its an entirely different color that is richer, bolder, and genuine. Everything on the IPS seems so washed out while everything on this QD-OLED just pops off of your screen.The build quality is what you would expect from a budget OLED. Its plastic, the I/O has just enough ports, and you just have to look at it long enough to mount it. I can’t comment on the stand because this went from the box to a monitor arm. The display is glossy but its not a mirrror by any means.Performance is great. I used a displayport cabled certififed for high bandwidth and I had no uses when I set the refresh rate to 240hz. When I switched the input to HDMI and turned on my PS5, the PS5 showed that everything that you’d expect works. VRR, HDR, it just works out of the box.The display is a little dim, but I wouldn’t call it unusable by any means. I have my brightness pushed to 100 because I like a bright display and it gets bright enough where I am not complaining. Do I wish it was 50 nits brighter like the other models in this lineup? Yes, but even right next to the IPS display that is 300 nits, I don’t really think its that massive of a difference. I love a bright display and I know OLED just can’t do that. I could have bought another display that is 300 nits, but then I’d wish it was 350. If I got one that was 400 nits, I’d wish it was 450. This display looks good and that’s what’s important to me.Overall, I am giving this a perfect score. It has its flaws, but nothing that wasn’t there in the listing. It does exactly what it was advertised to do, and also blew out my expectations for in terms of colors, so 5/5.”

Customer Review: “This monitor is fantastic. I went from an aging Nixeus 27″ 1440p IPS LCD to an MSI MAG 27″ OLED that broke within 6 hours, to this monitor, and am very happy with it. At under $500, it’s a solid price given the feature list.The response times (input lag) are fantastic, and it supports 240hz adaptive refresh rate with both Gsync and Freesync. It’s got HDMI and Displayport connectivity. And, it’s an OLED monitor.Being an OLED means the color reproduction is fantastic and damn near 100%, so coming from an LCD you’ll notice a huge boost to color contrast. Blacks will be black, not dark gray, and colors will be accurate, allowing you to notice subtle color gradients and other details you wouldn’t notice before.The monitor is easy to use, with a single control knob on the underside that allows you to both turn off the monitor and go into the settings. You can change things like brightness and picture mode, as well as ‘peak brightness’ which impacts the max brightness your screen can hit in localized spots during HDR content.Overall, works great. I will say the colors don’t quite pop out as much as on the MSI MAG QD-OLED, but it’s also more color accurate and easier on the eyes. Trying to read anything on the MSI had my eyes watering and they felt like they were being poked, so I guess it’s sort of a gift that I had to return it and get the LG.”

Customer Review: “I got this monitor for around 440$, for this value its absolutely amazing.Of course OLED looks fantastic but its also really smooth and has great colors.The refresh rate at this price is pretty good and the size for me works best, I’ve tried bigger monitors and for competitive gaming this size works way better for me so I’m not overly looking for the corners of HUD’s.The menu has all the options you’d expect also and it gets plenty bright for me. Cant speak on the stand as I immediately mounted it on a desk mount.It incredibly thin, like… wayyy too thin, its super cool, but sometimes I feel like I’m gonna snap it in half moving it closer or further away. I don’t think it would actually break like that just what it feels like so no big deal.”

Customer Review: “Been using this for two days now and everything is great. I have a dual Xeon workstation and gaming PC connected via KVM. After I got everything hooked up I maxed out the refresh rate at 240 Hz. Right off the bat I got really bad flickering, like multiple flickers per second and only happened at 240Hz. Fortunately, the problem was with my DP cable. Even though it was a Dp 1.4 it just couldn’t support that high of a signal. Bought a new one. switched it out, and everything is great.Now, if you were like me I hesitated because my monitor is shared for work and play. I didn’t know how bad the text would be considering how that is not a strong suit. The text isn’t as sharp as my previous monitor but not a big deal at all. As a matter of fact, I am already used to it and don’t think about it anymore.The blacks on this thing is absolutely amazing. The colors are so vibrant and rich and gaming looks so much better, even compared to a non OLED 4k monitor.The one thing that I was not too thrilled about is the auto dimming feature. If I switched from my desktop to MS word, you would see some minor dimming. I found out this is part of the built-in screen saving options. Not sure which ones so I turned them all off. I am not overly worried about burn-in. If it happens then I will use my 3-year warranty. I seriously cannot think of anything on which to improve the quality on this monitor, except for one. There is noticeable flicking if I have VRR enabled. Certainly not a deal breaker but you can see it flicker if you pay close enough attention. Other than that, it’s perfect and worth the $$$$.”

Customer Review: “Love it! Have had it for maybe 3 weeks now no issues. Picture quality is great u definitely need the right HDMI cord that can support the type of quality u are trying to stream. Xbox supports 4K and comes with 2.1HDMI so I am able to use 4k at 60hz for watching things on this monitor and it will activate the HDR settings at that point.The only “con” I would say which isn’t really a con just an annoying thing is the pixel cleaning. I make sure to do it whenever I have the pop up bc I don’t want burn it but it takes like 6 minutes and sometimes I just wanna get right on and play but I have to wait. But it’s worth it for the longevity of the monitor. U do need speakers it has no speakers. I did see some flickering at one point I never knew what that was before but I only saw it the one time and after fixing my settings to turnoff VRR it stopped so that’s good. Picture quality u will have to mess with the setting a lot to see what u like best but there are 2 settings save slots so u can save ur settings and load them.I have1 setting for when im gaming i jus hit to load that pre saved setup and the when I watching something i switch to my other saved settings so i dont have to go through and change everything all the time.Also for playing games, I play rivals mostly, that cross hair feature is lowkey a cheat bc I can better see my cross hair than the actual game crosshair and it has a dynamic function so it changes colors depending on the colors on the screen so it’s never hard to see it always does a contrasting color to make it easier to see. It has come in handy a lot. In the photo that Red Crosshair on the screen that’s the one I’m talking about that it a feature of the monitor that’s not from the game.Definitely is worth the money. I used amazons payment plan bc it is kinda expensive but I think it’s worth it and I like the rainbow color lighting effects the symbol does on the back it’s cuteeee.”

Customer Review: “LG 27GS93QE This monitor is absolutely amazing. I went from a QD-OLED gaming monitor to WOLED with hesitation but wow, LG is so much better than Samsungs panels! People all over the internet will scream how QD-OLED is better or that the Matte finish takes away from the image. This is a major lie, as I have owned both, I can tell you the WOLED panel crushed QD OLED.Blacks are actually black not purple, and having light in your room never takes away the beauty of the contrast on this panel! You might as well play in the sun here, the blacks stay that inky black! While QD OLED is embarrassing in comparison.The screen is actually cleanable!!!!!! QD OLEDs screens are just awful with cleaning. Glossy coats on monitors are just terrible. Following the manufacturers guidelines in cleaning won’t prevent scratches. But here, with LG, yea you won’t even see a scratch!!!Matte finish… where do I start. First you can’t even see the matte finish, it’s not the same matte finish you see on other gaming monitors. It’s borderline glossy, but much better than glossy. It won’t take away from the game, it doesn’t make the image look fuzzy what so ever. And again note here that I have BOTH panels!! This one embarrasses QD OLED and it was cheaper?!!!Brightness, and color. This monitor will show realistic colors and the true blacks will blow you away in contrast. On QD OLED, colors are far to vivid making it look over saturated even with calibration!!! WOLED, never had this issue and has the correct and accurate colors even out of the box which is insane! The brightness is good here, it’s Oled so your not going to get insane 2000 nits but your definitely getting an upgrade from QD OLED, VA, IPS, or TN.All in all amazing monitor, don’t listen to Reddit, get one your self and see! A great idea is to go to Best Buy and see them side by side and you’ll realize how much better WOLED is.5 amazing stars wish I could give it more.”
