Customer Review: I know more than most about computers, but even so, it took hours to get this monitor correctly hooked up to my Dell XPS laptop using a WAVLINK docking station. It gave me an image, but first it was a narrow band stretched out between two large black bars top and bottom. Then it was all correct across the screen, but lower resolution. I asked a LOT of questions to AI search engines and sometimes received conflicting suggestions, but eventually got it all worked out. Total time: Nearly 5 hours, which included many reboots. But, in the end, the 5120×1440 43″ screen looks and works BEAUTIFULLY. Just be prepared as you *may* have to do some troubleshooting to get it working right. My Dell laptop is 3 years old. I would expect less hassle with a newer computer …

Customer Review: The 49 inch monitor is a tremendous upgrade from my last monitor. With almost 4 feet of curved screen, I feel immersed when gaming and productive when working.I’ve used the monitor in two configurations: 1) Split screen mode where two cables (DisplayPort, USB-C, or HDMI) connect to the monitor, with each driving exactly half the screen using PSP. 2) Or, to fully exploit the resolution and refresh rate, I’ve used just the high speed DisplayPort cable for full screen. I prefer the first mode and have both my gaming console and laptop connected. I can easily switch from split screen to either the gaming console or the laptop in full screen using the monitor control panel. In either configuration, the monitor is bright, with fully saturated colors.The control panel on this monitor work better than some. I couldn’t find a way to change from full to split screen in Windows. I could only get it to work via the front control panel on the monitor. If either screen source drops, then the monitor automatically shows the remaining source on both sides. No way to change that I could find. The speakers are adequate but are not high end. The Audio auto switch to active source feature works great.Since I have an old PS4 it works best in split screen mode. The laptop can drive both sides as two monitors or drive it at 3k by 1k resolution. Newer gaming consoles can use the expanded resolution in Windows. It also worked booted into Linux as expected. One KVM that I had could drive the monitor full resolution on DP, but not HDMI. Still it’s a great monitor even with a 5 year old laptop and a PS4.I already had a hydraulic mount that could support the weight and it mounted easily. Did not use the included stand. It is very well constructed and as such is a bit heavy. Recommend getting help to mount it or carry it. At $600 currently, this is an excellent value for the high resolution, fast refresh rate and huge real estate..

Customer Review: I’m about 10 days in owning this and so far the experience has been exceptional. I work from home and play at night, so this thing gets about 10 hours of use per weekday. I knew what I was getting into when I chose this model and I feel like I made the right choice. The 93SC is a bare boned version of the 95SC, without the questionable “Smart TV” features and fewer ports. The screen is the same though.My work PC, via HDMI with Intel Iris Xe graphics, looks amazing. I’m coming from 2 4K monitors, so the text is not as crisp. However, after day 2 or so, my eyes adjusted and don’t notice the difference anymore. The upshot is a seamless work experience with EXCEPTIONAL colors and black blacks. Plenty of room for MANY windows and using Windows Snapping (Windows Key+ Arrows) makes positioning work windows a breeze. Sharing my screen via Teams was initially an issue until I found the “RegionToShare” app on the Windows store.My Gaming PC, via DisplayPort with an NVIDIA 4070 Super is setup for HDR gaming. Out of the box there was little to adjust, although I’ve been playing around with settings I’ve found on various sites. HDR in particular is VERY impressive and the sense of immersion in games like Flight Simulator and Forza is literally a game-changer. So, overall very happy and impressed.I also need to mention the stand. It your typical up/down/tilt affair, but the BASE IS FLAT. I overlooked this when researching and it was a pleasant bonus. Being flat, I gained all of that desk space back!So, the downsides? Well, it’s OLED, so you need to be aware of burn in potential. Pixel Shifting is on by default, which is good and I have my screensaver set to blank after 2 minutes of inactivity on both machines. However, there is a “pixel cleaning” feature that isn’t well documented. After a certain period of use, when you turn the monitor off, it goes into this mode for about 15 minutes. If you tend to unplug your gear when done for the day, you’ll need to wait for this to finish. Also, the box. It’ll take you 3 or 4 trash days to get rid of the 10lbs of packing material (funny but accurate).In summary, I’m very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend this of the 95SC, which only comes with features that make the experience worse in my opinion. If you really want Smart TV features, just add a Roku or Fire Stick to that other HDMI port.

The best experience you can get and black Friday literally saved my computer from the bottle-neck I was using.I typically take apart and put computers back together as a hobby and probably some day as a full time business myself, so at times when dealing with family issues I use what is available and that mean being stuck trying to use my gaming rig on a 55 inch 4k samsung TV which was literally beating the crap out of the RTX 4070 Ti Super graphics card I had in it cause playing any games on that TV was causing a burn up of the graphics card so when I got this Samsung 49″ Odyssey OLED I was like feeling the actual truest gaming experience anyone should ever expect.It literally makes regular gaming feel real and the best experience you can get besides playing VR.Videos play well, the refresh rate of everything is perfect, the product was delivered lightning fast and the best part is IT WAS DELIVERED IN PERFECT CONDITION!BUYERS BE WARNED ALWAYS BUY NAME BRAND MONITORS.I’ve had NO flickering or anything like that at all when playing games or watching videos or doing side to side work.The quality loans great because of using the HDMI 2.0 it came with.
