Customer Reviews
Customer Review: Today I set up my dual KOORUI 27″ model N07 monitors. I was somewhat worried by multiple reviewers reporting that this model isn’t really a 4K screen. So while I don’t usually write reviews, I’m here to assure you the N07 is in fact a 4K screen with resolution of 3840×2160 and refresh rate of 60hz. And I know why some people got this wrong. When I unplugged my old 1920×1080 monitors and tried to use the same HDMI cables, Windows identified the monitor as having a 1920×1080 native resolution. But my cables were very old. I plugged both my new monitors in using DisplayPort cables and they were instantly reporting 3840×2160. My monitors did not come with DP cables, just new HDMI cables. But my office had extra DP cables laying around. If you’re still having trouble getting 4K on one of these, be wary of adapters, such as DP-to-HDMI, DVI-to-HDMI, etc. Also try shorter or newer cables. You CAN get 4K out of HDMI cables, but remember that HDMI has been around since 2002 and that standard has gone through many versions with new capabilities over the years. As for reviewing the other aspect of these monitors… they look great to me! Neither of mine had dead or stuck pixels. the colors look good and image is sharp. I’m not a professional monitor reviewer, but these seem like perfectly good office monitors for a fantastic price compared to big brand names. I took a chance on some of their smaller screens several months back and was blown away at the quality and low price. I’m glad this higher end model hasn’t let me down! UPDATE: My original review was written 10/13/2023 and now it’s 5/16/2025. I have never had a single issue with these monitors in the 1 year 7 months I’ve been using them. In fact I stumbled across my own review after looking to purchase a 3rd matching one… because a triple-monitor setup with these bad boys would be awesome! By the way, I use them on a dual-monitor desk mount. I love that they have VESA mounting holes so they can be used on wall or desk arms/mounts.
Customer Review: I ordered a monitor from Sceptre and received the wrong model. This led me to make a somewhat angry purchase but man did it pay off. Jumping the gun on a 1440p IPS display was so worth it. I am pleased, satisfied, and left wanting nothing more. Pros and cons below. PROS: – Really bright display. This is such a game changer when you constantly deal with dim gaming displays. Typically on a budget monitor you get 250cd/m2 but here you get 400cd/m2!!! The brightness is perfect for gaming, day to day use, brightly lit rooms, etc. – Super Colorful Display: The colors on this screen pop like I’ve never seen. Everything is perfectly saturated. Nothing seems out of the ordinary. Everything you watch, read, play, will be enjoyed thoroughly guaranteed. – Whites are actually WHITE: As you can see in one of the images I attached, My other monitor (HP 25x) provides yellowish whites while the 27E3Q provides a very natural and expected white. – Not a single dead pixel on my unit! – No annoying branding. One simple and almost invisible “KOORUI” in the center of the frame on the bottom. No extended pieces of plastic either. Just a rectangular unit as you would expect. Unlike the HP 25x which has an annoying chunk of plastic that extends out. This is more nitpicky obviously but it still counts! – OSD (On Screen Display) is very easy to use. Its quick, to the point, no frills or gimmicks, and easy to read. – Really nice stand! Although I used my own dual monitor mount, the stand is high quality, heavy duty, with tons of adjustability. (Rotate, side to side, height) CONS: – From the research I’ve done, if you leave the overdrive off you won’t have a problem but, with it turned on you do experience some ghosting I believe. Haven’t tested it myself but this is what I’ve heard. Not worried about it, I leave it off and thoroughly enjoy gaming. – In all honesty, the only possible thing I can think of (and this is a real nitpick imo) is the edges of the display border. They could be a HAIR thinner. My HP 25x has a slightly thinner border (not the bezel/plastic frame). This monitor would have benefited greatly from a thinner border but I wouldn’t worry about it. With all of the benefits (AFFORDABILITY) a border shouldn’t even be close to a deal breaker. Overall, amazing monitor. I will be purchasing another one soon!

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: This lightweight display is such an amazing value! I honestly have never used one of these portable monitors so cannot compare it to others but I have used a lot of different monitors and laptop screens so can at least compare it to those. I currently have a 32” 4K OLED as my main monitor so you know image quality is important to me for my main monitor. This little MSI portable monitor is obviously not replacing that. Instead, I wanted a portable monitor that I can put above my workspace, plug my iPhone into, and watch videos (Netflix, YouTube, etc.) while I’m working. While I don’t absolutely need a full size HDMI input since my primary use case is plugging in my iPhone 17 to the monitor’s USB-C port, it’s a nice to have. The monitor comes with all the cables you need – including and HDMI cable and two USB-C cables. I pluggef the monitor to a power brick (not included) via one of the USB-C ports. I then plugged the other USB-C port into my iPhone 17 and voila, my iPhone recognized the display and displayed a mirrored image of my iPhone. When using video apps like Netflix, Disney+, the iPhone knows to display the video on the monitor and not mirror the display. Also, as soon as the iPhone is plugged in, power passes through to the iPhone and it starts charging. And since my use case is to watch videos while working, it’s a huge bonus that this screen has built in speakers. It’ gets decently loud – comparable to a decent laptop speakers. This image quality is also good. It’s obviously not gonna give you OLED blacks but for a portable display, it’s not too shabby. Overall, I highly recommend this portable MSI monitor.
Customer Review: I have used this portable monitor for a couple of months. Although it is not 4k, but I have to say the display quality is quite good. It is very convenient and it comes with a case. For use with Switch, you’ll need an HDMI with a power adaptor. When use it with my PC, I use the typeC port on my PC to power it. Very good monitor.

Complete Buying Guide for Best Curved Monitor For Mac Mini
Essential Factors We Consider
When selecting a curved monitor for your Mac Mini, we look at several key aspects to ensure you get the best experience. First, resolution and color accuracy are crucial for sharp visuals and vibrant images, especially when working with creative software. The screen curvature (R rating) impacts immersion; a more aggressive curve like 1500R or 1800R tends to be more engaging for productivity and media consumption. We also consider connectivity, ensuring ample ports like USB-C, HDMI, and DisplayPort are available and compatible with your Mac Mini. Lastly, ergonomics and build quality play a role in comfort and longevity, looking for adjustable stands and durable materials. For Mac Mini users, seamless integration and aesthetic appeal are always a bonus.
Budget Planning
Curved monitors for Mac Mini setups can range widely in price. Budget-friendly options, like the KOORUI 24N5CA, offer excellent value with a solid curved experience for everyday tasks. Mid-range choices might provide better color accuracy or higher refresh rates, suitable for light creative work or gaming. High-end models will boast premium features like 4K resolution, advanced color calibration, and sophisticated designs, often commanding a higher price tag. Portable curved monitors, while smaller, can also offer great value for their flexibility. Consider your primary use case to determine the right balance between features and cost. Remember to factor in potential accessories, such as a wooden monitor stand for your Mac setup to elevate your workspace.
Final Thoughts
Choosing the best curved monitor for your Mac Mini ultimately depends on your specific needs and budget. Whether you’re looking for immersive entertainment, enhanced productivity, or a portable solution, there’s a curved monitor out there that can elevate your Apple experience. Always check for compatibility with your Mac Mini’s ports and consider how the monitor’s features align with your daily tasks. Investing in a good monitor stand, like an ergonomic monitor stand for your Mac, can further optimize your setup.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can a curved monitor connect to a Mac Mini?
A: Absolutely! Most modern curved monitors come equipped with standard ports like HDMI, DisplayPort, or USB-C, all of which are compatible with various Mac Mini models. Ensure the monitor you choose has the correct input ports for your specific Mac Mini version.
Q: What is the best resolution for a curved monitor with a Mac Mini?
A: For a crisp and detailed image, we recommend at least a 1080p (Full HD) resolution for monitors up to 24 inches. For larger or more demanding tasks, consider 1440p (QHD) or even 4K resolutions for exceptional clarity, especially if you’re working with high-resolution images or videos.
Q: Are curved monitors good for productivity with a Mac Mini?
A: Yes, curved monitors can significantly enhance productivity. The curvature reduces eye strain by minimizing the distance from your eyes to the edges of the screen, and it creates a more immersive field of view, which can be beneficial for multitasking and focus.
Q: Do I need a special cable to connect a curved monitor to my Mac Mini?
A: Typically, you’ll use standard HDMI or DisplayPort cables. If your Mac Mini and monitor both support USB-C connectivity, a single USB-C cable can often handle both display output and data transfer, simplifying your setup.
Q: Are portable curved monitors a good option for a Mac Mini?
A: Portable curved monitors, like the MSI Pro MP165E6, are excellent for users who need flexibility. They offer an extended workspace on the go and can be easily connected to your Mac Mini, making them ideal for travel or working in different locations.
